Suggestion: Free Shoutcast.

This is primarily an suggestion and all things voiced in this topic is my very own opinion.

I strongly believe that Caster.FM is not the way to go because of quality limitations. A simple 128kb track is being downgraded and causing distortion to the sound and also causing volume issues. I believe right now everything is being done at 64kb and while that's fine and all, I think Umbar should now begin to look outside from the limitations of Caster.FM?

My alternative: http://freestreamhosting.org/

Why? 1000 slots, 128kb. Can be launched in Winamp and or anything else. Can have an Online / Offline feature that updates by its self. It has a shoutbox, and its own player.

Downsides: Without Pro Broadcaster you can't directly link or add a player to your site but I think its cheap, not sure. I've used this service myself and they've been around for like 3 years so I know they're good :3
